How Do You Thank Military Family Members?
How important is it to you to thank military family members? I can’t thank them enough! Families sacrifice in a different way than the military member, but we as family do a lot! I was once left alone pregnant and gave birth while my husband was away. We Skyped the birth and during me giving birth, I as well as the staff could hear bombs going off in the background. Yikes! Right? My first time giving birth, panicking, anxiety, and on top of all that the fob next to my husband is getting attacked! Can you imagine being in labor for the first time, clueless, and without your husband there for you? You guys I’m not writing this to sound like the “poor me” girl. I couldn’t be more thankful for the experience. Without this hard experience I wouldn’t be the strong woman I am today. How unique is it that I was one of the small percentages that got to experience a deployment?! I’m so grateful Ryan made it home safe, but I’m also so grateful for his sacrifice. Not only did Ryan sacrifice missing the birth of our first born child, but he sacrificed fighting for our country.
I encourage you to thank military member families, because we have our own struggles. We also sacrifice, worry, and wonder when we’ll receive a call or an email.

Real Talk
Anxiety talk!
I’m going to get pretty real today. I want to talk about “ANXIETY”. I have struggled with anxiety pretty much most my life. I’ve got to the bottom of it and it comes from something traumatic that happened to me. Maybe I’ll talk about that one day. A lot of my anxiety also packed on when family problems would come. Me being the oldest i felt like I needed to fix my families problems. My parents are amazing parents and did a great job raising me! I don’t blame them at all. Now I go to therapy and have been for the last 4 years and it’s helped a ton. I don’t want to be on medication that’s just my opinion. I feel like I can mentally fight my anxiety with the help of my therapist, exercise, and family. I’m not against anyone taking medication for theirs. I just want to let you know that there are options and you can fight those nasty thoughts and turn them in to good ones! If you struggle with the same thing you’ve got this!👊🏾 I couldn’t fight without my amazing husband, Ryan and my little girls. Find your why everyday!

I can’t say how important it is to read to your kids or have them read a book daily. I have two of @healthykidsbooks and my girls love them! Nixeon, is able to read now, so she’ll read to us before bed and Olympia loves it! Reading is your best medicine! I wish I did more of it. I think I may be a little smarter ;)

How often do we care about others? I mean do you take the time to message a friend or family member and ask how they’re doing? I think we can all relate on letting Satan in when bad thoughts come in. I have been struggling mentally as I’m a stay at home mom. I know what you’re thinking staying at home with your kids is a dream. Don’t get me wrong I’m so blessed to be able to stay home with my girls. I love doing everything for them and my husband. Sometimes I just don’t feel like I’m enough, because I don’t have a “tittle”. A lot of the time I don’t feel enough. I don’t feel like I’m pulling my weight bringing in money. Guess what guys? Gardens and Purses
First of all we went to a garden area to take these photos. Little did I know it would become a place my child ended up loving! She didn’t want to leave! I loved all the pretty flowers and colors. I felt as if I was in flowlaland;) the mist of water, the smell, and vibe made my heart happy! Enough said about the garden. How about this purse!!
